On June 26, 2026, Mr. Thien Phibulsawat, Director of the Water Resource Conservation Division, and his staff participated in a national workshop on "Support and Coordinate the Scaling Up of the Watershed Management Pilot of Basin-Wide Significance." They presented a regional watershed planning and management framework, project action plans, and defined the scope of work for a pilot project showcasing best practices in watershed management in key Mekong River basins, at the National Water Resources Office (NWRO).
