The Department of Water Resources held a meeting to monitor the progress of the Thailand-Thailand cooperation project.SEI enhances the management of the country's wetlands.

Today (July 3, 2026), Ms. Boonthida Plengsang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Water Resources, chaired a meeting on the collaborative project for monitoring and evaluating wetlands in Thailand between the Department of Water Resources and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). Executives and staff from the Department of Water Resources attended the meeting at the Water Resources Conservation Division meeting room, 7th floor, Department of Water Resources building, and via Zoom Meeting.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the project, the results of the selection of target areas for implementation, and the plan for field surveys in order to drive effective monitoring and assessment of the status of wetlands in the country and support sustainable water resource and ecosystem management.
